Colin Walsh, a dedicated educator, community advocate, and proud resident of Norfolk County, is your Liberal candidate for Haldimand-Norfolk.

Having taught in several communities across Norfolk County for the past twelve years, Colin has inspired students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Currently, he teaches Grade 7/8 French Immersion at Saint Joseph’s Elementary School. A longtime OECTA representative and school sports coach, Colin has demonstrated leadership both in and out of the classroom.

Colin’s commitment to public service extends to his priorities for the Haldimand-Norfolk riding. Passionate about housing, renewable resources, immigration, and the economy, he envisions fiscally responsible solutions that balance climate action with job creation, supporting innovation and growth in rural communities.

A bilingual Ontario Certified Teacher in good standing, Colin holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Education from Brock University. He is qualified in Primary and Junior Divisions, with additional expertise in French as a Second Language.

When not in the classroom, Colin enjoys exploring Norfolk County’s outdoor lifestyle with his wife, Laurie Kilgour-Walsh, and their two children, Norah (11) and Declan (6). As one of eleven siblings, Colin values family and community, principles that guide his leadership and vision for the future.

At 47, Colin is ready to bring his experience, passion, and commitment to serve the people of Haldimand-Norfolk.
